Join us after the in-person screening of the AAIFF45 opening film, FREE CHOL SOO LEE, to witness the awarding of the Asian CineVision Asian American Media Award to Producer and Editor of FREE CHOL SOO LEE, Jean Tsien. The Award will be presented by renowned film director and screenwriter Sam Pollard.


Sam Pollard and Jean Tsien will take the stage following remarks from John Woo (Executive Director of Asian CineVision), Asia Society executives, Kayla Wong (Festival Director of Asian CineVision), and Julie Ha and Eugene Yi (directors of FREE CHOL SOO LEE).
